UO... My now brother-in-law got me and my actual brother into this game when I was still in grade school; I joined A little before or after T2A came out.... I can't remember for the life of me

It's kind of sad that most of my elementry school life was involved in this game...

I stopped playing between Renaissance and AoS, and then came back but stopped before Samurai.... Oh How UO had changed..... :-( ... But thats why hybrids for :)

lol, the last post i read was reminiscing about abyss. that was the shit, with the skill gates instead of "set x" that was the shit. color wars ftw.

I thought character edition would be the highest, since most of us left shortly after T2A basically. I miss the old days but this is the closest it gets.

I wish they'd make a server called Abyss with the same ruleset and everything. Those were the best times, I actually liked that as much as the dread days.

i started during release i was either 13 or 15 not sure exactly when release was and ive been playing off and on ever since i usually stop for a year or 2 then come back for a year or so then quit again then come back ...then quit....then come back or maybe i was 17 how long has uo been around now? i forget

Im not sure exactly when. I can tell you what it was like though. I remember being able to mess up someones skills by using camping or musicianship while standing next to them.

I remember when animals used to drop those worthless hides that later became rares. My friends used to get like 15 vendor purple pots and put them in a crate, drop the crate to the ground, axe it, put some animal hides over those and put like 50 gold on top. Then they'd hide and paralyze the first guy that ran up to the gold, then lob 1 pot at him.

Fireball was used to PK people. GM parry was unheard of but one guy had it and he could stand in the middle of 5 guys wailing on him and be untouched.

Yeah I came in when Trammel was in, I loved UO, People in trammel were nice, I got in a guild they taught me from the ground up.. I dont think I would of ever gotten past the trial if it wasnt for the guild helpin me learn the game like they did..

Was an awesome experience..

I started about a month after UO:R came out. All the house spots were taken within a day of the release. I still remember running around on foot trying to place a house. I have great OSI stories but nobody wants to hear that crap!:rofl:

One of the best things about OSI was how the RP'ers blended in with the normal people. A lot of guilds were very organized and disciplined. One thing that really sucked was how OSI trashed Fel, I mean damn did they really have to make it look like shit to discourage new people from going there? The fear of losing massive amounts of gold in rares that every trammie carried should have been enough.

That wasn't on Sonoma was it? I was the first on our server with gm parry back in the day. I pretty much was the leader of Chaos on my server. Name was Chaos, Sargonnas, C-murder etc.......

Yea i started playing uo like 280 days ago that is my oldest account.. no other shard or anything just hybrid
