Skill Overview

Arms Lore is the art of evaluating weapons, armor, and combat equipment to determine their condition, damage potential, and protective qualities. Masters of Arms Lore can assess any piece of equipment instantly and gain significant bonuses when crafting superior weapons and armor.

How Arms Lore Works

Binary Success System

Arms Lore uses a simple pass/fail system. Success reveals complete information, failure shows nothing.

  • • Failure = "You are not certain..."
  • • No skill level thresholds

Protection Scale

  • • Maximum protection (30-35 AR)

  • • Same 0-9 durability scale
  • • Current vs maximum hit points
  • • Repair need assessment
