Healing is the art of mending wounds with bandages, curing poisons, and even bringing the dead back to life. Master healers are invaluable in both PvP and PvE scenarios, keeping allies alive through the fiercest battles. In the pre-AOS era, healing is essential for any warrior or support character, providing reliable recovery without mana.

Bandage Mechanics

Healing Requirements

Apply bandages to heal damage on yourself or others.

  • Range: 1 tile (must be adjacent)
  • Resources: Clean bandages required
  • Hands: Cannot hold items while bandaging
  • Movement: Can move but causes "slips"
  • Interruption: Taking damage may cause slips

Healing Timer

Self Healing:

Bandage timer based on dexterity
  • • Higher DEX: Faster healing
  • • Lower DEX: Slower healing
  • • Self bandaging takes longer
  • • Others heal faster

Healing Others:

  • 100+ DEX: 3.0 seconds
  • 40-99 DEX: 4.0 seconds
  • Below 40 DEX: 5.0 seconds

Slip Penalties

Moving or taking damage causes "slips" that reduce effectiveness.

  • Healing Reduction: -4 HP per slip
  • Success Penalty: -2% chance per slip
  • Max Slips: Varies by movement/damage
  • Prevention: Stand still for best results

Success Formula:

((Healing - 30) ÷ 50) - (Level × 0.1) - (Slips × 0.02)

Higher poison = harder to cure

Resurrection

Bring the dead back to life with master healing skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum: 80.0 Healing
  • Anatomy: 80.0 required
  • Target: Ghost form

Success Formula:

((Healing - 68) ÷ 50) - (Slips × 0.02)

Stop Bleeding

Bandages instantly stop bleed damage effects.

  • • No skill requirement to stop bleeding
  • • Immediate effect upon bandage application
  • • Still heals damage after stopping bleed
  • • Essential for mortal strike recovery
