I played UOF for about a week, the spell timing were too different, especially when it came to 5x. The atmosphere kind of reminded me of UO in it's glory days though, seeing Brit Bank poppin and fights happening in dungeons. UO will always have a special place in my heart. My dad was fixing his fishing reel, it was an Abu Garcia, brought back alot of memories of SiK and Ross. Even though I won't ever play UO again, I hope this shard become great again.

On top of this there was some some actual real speedhacking (extremely blatant screen skipping toggle) going on by a player named truehood and his crew for months and months and despite pages almost every day he was never permabanned, why? Because he's a big donator, and everyone knows it.

I'd encourage anyone who plays on that server to come back to Hybrid because at least you know this server isn't going anywhere and unless you are a big donator chances are your days playing there are numbered. It's just a matter of time before you kill the wrong person and little bitch Shane gets angry and bans you for some BS reason. Its really unfortunate that server exists because its splitting the dwindling population that still play pub15 era servers. If all the crews from UOF came back to hybrid things would probably be popping again. Not sure if Ryan is still around and active but i'd really like to see some changes made to try and revitalize this server back to his prior glory. Removing del pond safezone was a good start. Makes me sad to see all these crazy neon items everywhere, private islands all over the place, and tons of obviously [added items everywhere. We need to get back to basics and remember what made this game the best game ever created, and why we still play it after 17 years.

Shini is the only person in our group that has any sort of mods. Not for any reason other then neon and ghost prefer the original look and I just don't have them because the few I did have deleted when I downloaded the new client for assist. But can you give one example of how shini's mods help in the field?

tbh though that's not what I was getting at, moreso he should release his shit to the public. he clearly has the talent to make it, ability to upload it, and wit to develop it. his potential is through the roof behind the screen not on it.

Sending client mods publicly is considered illegal in general for avoiding malwares.

i've been in quite a bit of trouble for something related to this before.

I only send my other mods to some of my friends who want to use/try them and of course ,
that i can trust at 100%.


I've already tried to release some stuff publicly before and they gave me a strict warning.

Nope , moding is allowed here as long as it doesn't inferface with the server so that wouldn't really make any sense.

The reason was to avoid malwares like keyloggers (i could imagine some crazy hack waves.)
That was the reason that they gave me at the time from an admin in a PM and of course that make perfect sense to me.
