Idea: Wraith HML for mana supply, Pixies as meat shield, resists to bump Phys, Poison, Energy to 40. Spirit and Chiv for healing/Curing, Chiv and Bushido for skill based damage increase/HCI (Divine Fury/Lightning Strike)

Any ideas people? Things to make it better? Worse?

Hello all,
I am quiet interested in making a blessed/naked char. So far I am thinking between these two templates:
Spirit of the Forest:
wrestling - 100
SW 100
res 100
meditation 100
hiding 100
stealth 60
chiv 60
focus/ninjitsu 100

Guardian of the Forest:
Weapon skill(leaning towards fencing for the blessed fork) 100
SW 100
MRes 100
Med 80
hiding 100
stealth 80
tactics 100
chiv 60

As you can see Spirit is more casting orientated - having meditation and focus to supply mana for the SW spells, and wrestling for some defense. OTH Guardian is more ... ermmm combat oriented?

I am planning to use Allured humanoids(any one knows if Fan Dancers/Ronins/Ninjas can be charmed?) with some furies/pixies to help me in my hunting

Any ideas - which one template would be better/easier to play?

Both templates looks nice and might be fun to play with. Maybe you just need to try out which suits you better as a player?

Personally I think it would be a bit challenging to use a weapon skill without high hci, and lack of parrying would make some pain without high resists.
Necromancy with arcane boots might be one option, to try

Cant remember when I played UO for the last time - may be it was 4-5 years ago . Was logging only from time to time - trying to keep my account from deletion - nevertheless - house and stuff is gone - just my tamer remained
Decided to start again a few days ago ... So I've lost grip on what is going on in our shard.
What is this pixie nerf you are talking about?
Because frankly - the caster orientated template(Spirit of the Forest) seemed to me to be most cheap to create and maintain ... and if in ourdays the concept of playing item independent char requires heavy investment in 120PSs and blessable artifacts - I am afraid I will skip it

Update March 28, 2015:

• Spellweaving changes (as seen on the Test Center):
  • Summon fey/fiend now costs mana per summon.
  • Corrected summoned feys/fiends (reduced hits and mana, greatly reduced magery).
  • (Custom) Players will obtain a 1-minute immunity to the Essence of Wind debuff when it expires naturally.
