We're just waiting on the ore elementals loot to be fixed. Other than that it's just testing everything else. The more people who test, the better.

It's not just ore elemental loot its all creatures that carry it as loot. Thanks to I.P for letting us know which sizes each creature should carry.

I have been trying to fix this but so far i am not having much luck with it. I promise i will post a new patch if and when i can get it done.

Ok i think i have come up with a solution for the different sized ore as loot i'll post a new patch soon.

Can you tell me which one is which from below and what are the amounts?

Ice and Snow elementals drop ore as loot as well Iron ore one drops large the other drops medium round one on OSI

Here you go though it does not belong here I have a question.
On Demise does standing beside a snow or ice elemental give you cold damage and also ice fiends?

Anyway here this is from the snow elemental the ice elemental does not give ore as loot.On OSI
you get 3 medium ore on Demise it is 3 large.I am guessing the reason is because there isn't medium size ore on Demise.

I don't mean to question your coding ability but I have a question.
Since we can not use a gargoyle pick axe to dig up an earth elemental that loot is fine and stays the way it should but we can dig up dull copper elementals which will have 25 large dull copper ore but the ones that spawn on their own will not have 25 correct?

No the coloured elementals that spawn will have a different amount to the ones you dig up. I havn't touched the way that is handled so it should be the same as it is on demise atm.

I have noticed this also causes an issue where you could end up with 0 amount of small ore weighing 0.
Hopefully the new patch in the first posts fixes that issue, but i still have to look into the skill gain part of the problem and will update when i find a solution.

I found another discrepancy with elementals and ore as loot
On Demise with the earth elementals they drop large ore pieces
They don't drop that type on OSI

Upon further review I was killing pre-patch earth elementals in Despise
The new ones drop the correct ore type and amounts

I tested
In non-Felucca facets I was getting 2 ore no matter the size per mining attempt
In Felucca I was getting 3 ore no matter the size per mining attempt

Even though I was using a human character the odds of me getting the ore bonus on every attempt though possible is very very high
I used a pick axe with 50 uses in each facet Tram and Felucca
