no reason for champ spawns to be easier, GAY/PVE never had a problem with them. They were fun and took work, the loot wasn't really worth the time but still enjoyable.

PK Stat Loss
Temporarilly. Something like -2 from all skills per Short Term per resurrection that is reset with the server each day. So if a PK resurrected 5x in one day, and was reported 8 times, he would be at - from each stat until the server reset.

Murder Count / Duel Rank / Faction Rank Reset
I actually would support this as a regular event. Something like every 6 months the rank systems are all reset. This will keep the information updated, will allow newcomers a shot at the title, and will keep e-peen in check.

Dungeon Chest Spawns
To this day, I still don't know why these aren't on UOG. Love'm. They're a source of profit and a source of roleplay.

Tessa's Guard Idea
Never really thought of modifying the guard system in the way she suggested, but I think her ideas are right on the money.

Sheivan's Newbie Dungeon, Voting Stones, and Auction House Ideas
All three are great ideas I fully support.

Further PK Restrictions
I don't think reds should be allowed in town. I don't necessarilly think it hurts UOG currently, I just think that reds should have the hardest time possible without permanent statloss.

And since we're talking about ideals:

PvP and PK with Honor
I still haven't been able to play enough to warrant starting Murderers Inc again, but I would really love to see PvP and PK with honor. Where the gank wouldn't necessarilly roll a solo player, but instead would watch the 1v1 take place. Where the PKs would NEVER attack newbies. Where there would be no want to grief and no need for retaliation. There would just be a mutually fun environment for everyone to enjoy.

Ahh, ideals are nice.

2. The ability to throw exploding food
3. If you're Red, you get an evil eye-patch or monocle
4. Arcane missle launcher
5. Rat skates -- need to tame two rats and then ride on them like roller skates.

Old monsters loots... Now its too hard to get magical armors, but stills easy to get weapons, and gm weps do a lot of dmg... or increase the AR of GM Leather Set made of barbed/spined/horned...

I'd like to see a few things myself....

I agree that reds shouldn't be allowed in guarded towns... right now there is Bucc's Den and Occlo for reds to bank at. That should be enough really.

If a newbie gets ganked by a red, oh well... I'm sure EVERYONE who has had a PK has done it at least once. It's part of the game, but there should be more of a penalty to be red other than being AOS.

Id like to see the BOD timer changed to what OSI did about a year + ago. If you turn in a BOD you're immediately able to get another one. It'll make the lower end BOD's more wanted and people won't have 2+ accts just to gather BOD's. Well they still might, but you'll be able to get nearly as much in a day with one character.

Limit accnts to two per IP.

No mounts & reduce stamina loss when running.

Vanq/Power weapons and Fort/Invul armor are waaayyy too easy to get right now. I fished up ONE MIB and pulled out 3 vanqs, 1 power, 1 invul and 2 fort items. That should not happen. I remember back on OSI when vanqs would be selling for 100k+. What are they here.... 5k-10k? Make them worth something so people aren't sitting on millions of gold.

Change runic crafting hammers. Right now they have pre-determined stats when crafting weapons. Make it so they will give random stats based on their rarity. A DC runic hammer could say, give a level 1 random magic bonus to the item. So it could give Accurate, Durable or Ruin, PLUS the normal exceptional bonus if applicable. Scale the other runic hammers to another level bonus etc.

Increase monster gold drop, right now I honestly don't see it being worthwhile to go hunting. I can make more escorting by running 3 mages.

Reduce the amount of gold given from escorting. 600gp should be max, I've gotten near 1k multiple times. Make it roughly 350gp-600gp per escort. This'll encourage more people to go out and hunt in dungeons. Escorting is 100% safe and I can make more in an hour doing this than a friend of mine on his tamer killing balrons.

One faction per IP. If you join a faction on one accnt, all of your chars on all accounts for your IP can only be in that faction. Also give a faction wipe to allow people to re-select their faction.

I'd also like to see chests spawn in dungeons, with a loot table based on level of LP needed to unlock the chest.

No more ethy's. - I never understood what was so cool about them in the first place. I would rather ride visible mounts.

No more neon clothing. - It would be cool if it was actually rare.

Magic shoes that made you run as fast as if you where on a mount. - This would be uber cool as we would see people pvping on foot again and keeping up with the people on mounts so their would be no unfair advantage.


NO REDS IN TOWN. - Who the fuck thought of this idea in the first place? OSI??? Its fucking retarded.

Reds should have their own town. I was all for the siege peril. idea of reds in town when it was brought in. Now having seen it in play, I believe it was a mistake. I can go as a blue to Occlo or Bucc's with little chance of dying. I have seen few reds there, and very little pvp. Allowing reds in all towns has killed two of the top pvp hotspots.

1) ships cannot be controlled by ghosts while living players are on board.

2) ghosts get booted to the nearest shoreline if the boat they are on gets dry docked by a living player.

I played Divinity pretty hardcore for the first month (guild FB/7DS) but there are a lot more reasons why I'd rather play here, it extends beyond instahit/mounts. Also, if you read my first post you'd know I'm really not trying to have changes implemented. I was just throwing out some 'fun' ideas for shits and giggles (shiggles). I mean, realistically, removing mounts would be a brutal idea for the shards population (even though I'd prefer mountless PvP) so I ultimately wouldn't support such a change. No big deal though. Again, just thoughts.

As it turns out though, a lot of realistic and decent ideas came out of this thread which is pretty cool too. As well as some 'interesting' ones. Keep em coming.

Make it like way old school so we have no follower limit. I want to see someone run with 10 7x mares.

Really tho I am pretty happy with what we got right now. The shard is sweet as is.
