Yes Bama, we will get better soon! :) KoV is a new guild, only 2 month old, but we already have success, we doing already spawns in Fell and farming gold 500k-1kk in a hour. Our Great Dragons getting bond soon and we getting better gear. I have now a full time job and don't have much time to play and help with suits for the whole guild, but Opywang has a lot of time. KoV is getting better and better every day! :)

Theres only 5 differences to osi and demise for spawns.

After each server down (saturday for us) every spawn becomes inactive and has to be repopped.

The way all spawns auto pop themselves.

The way the candle system works.
Bama already posted the difference in the candle system.

The way the spawn radius works.
The spawn radius is supposed to reduce after each level so by 4th lvl almost all the spawn spawns within a screen of the alter.

Also on OSI you could both valor to start the champ and valor to boost the champ 1 red candle.

the only one on that list that really changes the speed of the spawn is the radius. But it sounds like your guild isnt geared enough to handle that much spawn anyways so would probably just be harder for you anyways.

also the way the candle system works. no matter if it starts with 2 or 4 you have to earn the same ammount of red candles to pop the champ out. You dont have to get 2 of the total candles though so its a little faster.

Yes you could. Considering the only way to pop champs was to valor them out they didnt auto pop except 1 random spawn and baracoon. And you could use valor once per champ to boost 1 red candle.

and yes if you started with 4 candles it would revert twice. if you started with 3 candles it would revert once.

A champion spawn will only accept one such Virtuous Challenge per session. Only one person may affect a given champion spawn session, and only once during that session. Once a champion spawn’s level has been increased by a player, no one else can increase its level until the spawn has been completely defeated and has restarted.

Yes. one person can valor the champ to start it. so when the alter is black. Then one person can also boost the champ 1 red candle. On here you can only do 1 or the other.

This is how it used to be based off the time period. I dont know if its changed since then but 100% this is how it worked up to mondains legacy patchs.

From someone who did over 5,000 spawns during that time period on osi.

Having never played OSI, I like Demise's current spawning system. It's simple and every spawn can still be completed with ease.

Opywang, I don't think anyone except for you and your guild have issues with the system in place. Which is due to issues with your templates, gear & macros, I assume. All of which can be altered, and if you and your friends use a similar setup to what I've posted you'll see that there is no issue with the system in place either.

At one time on Demise you were able to chain the same champ over and over by using valor at the end of the spawn
You can still valor a spawn once it has been finished and pop it into the next spawn. We do this all the time.

Is it the same spawn over and over and over or is it random?
They would find a nice spot in T2A where they could block it off with boats and chain Coon all night long
IDK. We did it with dungeon spawns.

Either way, you can still repop a champ immediately after it has been beaten.

BTW, aren't T2A spawns supposed to reset eventually if they aren't done within a certain time? Every single spawn out there is Neira or Mephitis 24/7.
