As for the finals, it usually (always?) is an European/South American affair, Spain v Brazil should be a cracker (if possible). Though it wouldn't surprise me if Germany once again manages to squeeze through all the way.

Poor game from both sides, although Spain should have been 2-0 at one point (BAD header! BAD!)

I think this was the best game Spain did this tournament. Not even close to what they did in Eurocup but i enjoyed watching them playing today. Germany thou, played terribly... major fault on their snot eater coach who decided to play defensively.
And i still think the final can be a very nice match. World cup finals are always WORLD CUP FINALS :) :)

I had to control myself during the game, the place I was watching it with my girl had lots of Deutschland fans. But my god that was a sweet game.

Anything but penalties please in the final match - such a "cheap" way to win (during normal play I mean).

I, on the other hand, think there is no better way to decide a final match.
Its the most exciting way.

Everyone in Brasil remembers the penalties on the 94 world cup.
Every shot creating hundreds of heart beats.
Penalties on the World Cup's finals are like a super colective visual drug.
