it seems to me that this is false information, i have talked to many thieves on hybrid about this and i concluded that dexterity actually does not affect the stealing skill whatsoever. I do know that once upon a time in the world of OSI that it actually did effect your stealing skill, but as far as this shard goes, it does not at all. I wouldnt mind hearing others thoughts on this.

So sloth said his macro for opening pouches in other bags doesn't work anymore. So with that said, I have two questions:
1. How do you create a macro to open pouches in others bags? Dbl click Item Type: pouch doesn't work. It only seems to look in my pack. In any case it can't find pouches in others pack.
2. I have heard you can write a macro to snoop, steal, [target item] several pouches deep. My macro only seems to work for the top layer. Could someone point me in the right direction for making my macro search more than top level of a targets pack?

How can you train stealing when you cant steal`? i mean it says you have to have at least 60 in stealing to join thieves guild!

you can use anatomy to see your victims dex, good for when you havent gm'd stealing yet.
Oh yeah, im a thief killer. Is it true that people in the thieves guild can be attacked even if they are blue and you wont go grey as long as its not within guard zone?

Not unless they're perma-grey. I.E. Have stolen off a blue since their last death.
And if they are perma, you can attack them freely in town or out without going grey.

on stratics it says if i reveal someone to be a thief via forensics i can attack them freely however this is not true for this shard coz i tested it and got whacked. And theres no way to tell if they're perma grey unless they stole from you is there?

Macing
Tactics
Anatomy
Healing
Stealing
Snooping
Hiding
To perfect this ... if theyre mage steal their garlic first (cant heal)
Then steal drake (cant cast most harmful spells)
If they have refresh pots and you can live that long steal them too (works for fighters and mages)
Steal Aids if they have them
If their a fighter steal their wep..
Macing drains stam and have fun
This takes a long time to perfect but if you can use it very effectively

being hybrid and the closer to 700skill cap u get the slow the gains so what order should i do the skill (im doin that pvp thief template) ive only ever made 1 thief and that was on catskills long time ago and this sharde is very differnt on gains

Does hiding break the target still? I could have sworn I got flamestiked while stealthing a bit earlier tonight.
